Membership Terms and Conditions

• ALIQUANTUM - Networking for Women in Business is a positive contact and word of mouth interactive network for professional business women who meet monthly, in the evening, to generate quality business leads and recommendations for their own business and, where appropriate, for other members of the group.
• We believe that word of mouth marketing is possibly the most cost effective form of marketing.  By attending regularly you get to know and trust others, as they get to know and trust you, as well as gaining a good understanding of the nature of one another’s business.
• We operate in a structured but relaxed and informal way, whilst providing the opportunity for business women to talk to one another and use their natural networking skills to best effect.

Conditions of Attendance

• Attendance at monthly meetings is not compulsory but is recommended to gain the most from your membership.  Meeting attendance fees are non-refundable.
• ALIQUANTUM - Networking for Women in Business is exclusive and entirely for Professional Business Women operating in a competitive and commercial business-to-business world, whether that is dealing with individual SMEs and/or corporate clients or operating from commercial premises in the Retail Sector. 

Conditions of Membership

• Members businesses must represent a discipline that is their main business or represents a substantial part of their business activities, that business must operate in a competitive and commercial business-to-business world, whether that is dealing with individual SMEs and/or corporate clients or operating from commercial premises in the Retail Sector.  Members are welcome from corporate environment.
• Members are welcome to bring more than one representative of your business to a meeting and we do not demand attendance at every meeting, where a colleague within the same company attends with a member they will be entitled to pay meeting fees at member rate.  We do not limit attendance to one person per discipline, rather we encourage synergies and opportunities for support and strategic alliances.
• Members will be provided with the opportunity to have their business details included on the membership directory on the ALIQUANTUM website, the purpose of which is to enable members to provide their contacts with the opportunity to search for a supplier from a trusted source.  The responsibility for the legality and accuracy of the content of such directory entries lies entirely with the member concerned.  Where ALIQUANTUM is concerned that the content is in any way illegal or inappropriate we have the right to refuse to include such content on the ALIQUANTUM website.  Text describing your business, products or services should be limited to 350 words and you should also provide a photograph of the ALIQUANTUM member, the website address and a copy of your logo in jpeg format.  Inclusion of a profile on the Members section of the website is not mandatory, but completion of the Membership Application form is required.
• Completion and acceptance of the Membership Application Form constitutes an agreement for a period of membership of at least one year.  Membership renewal will be invited at 12 monthly intervals thereafter.  In the event that members wish to relinquish their membership of ALIQUANTUM - Networking for Women in Business during the course of the first year of membership then a period of one month’s notice is required and payment of the balance of that year’s membership fee will become due or, if paid in full in advance, is non-refundable.  ALIQUANTUM - Networking for Women in Business reserves the right to terminate membership if any element of our terms and conditions are breached.  Completion of the Membership Application Form constitutes agreement to our Terms and Conditions of Membership.
• The cost of membership is as published on the website and may be reviewed from time to time.  Membership fees are payable by one of two options, viz.

-               By monthly Bank Standing Order in the sum of £20.00 per month
Or
-               By one off payment of £240.00 less a discount of 10% - a total due of £216.00.  Where this is the preferred method of payment then an invoice will be provided.

• Membership substitution is fully supported, i.e. if one female member of your business is unavailable to attend then a female colleague may attend in your place.
• Once accepted as a member of ALIQUANTUM - Networking for Women in Business such membership fees are non-refundable.
• Limitation of liability - ALIQUANTUM Networking Ltd and its subsidiaries shall in no circumstances whatsoever be liable to members for any special, indirect or consequential loss or damage of any kind (including without limitation loss of profits).  ALIQUANTUM Ltd and its subsidiaries total liability to Members in respect of breaches of its obligations hereunder shall be limited in aggregate to proved pecuniary loss not exceeding the fees paid for membership.
• Indemnity - Members shall hold ALIQUANTUM Networking Ltd and its subsidiaries harmless in and from all claims, liabilities, damages and detriments arising from any actual negligence or malfeasance.

Values

• ALIQUANTUM is founded on four principal values, honesty, integrity, respect and trust.  We ask that your dealings with the people you meet through attendance at ALIQUANTUM events are conducted in line with our Values.  In the event of any complaint this should be made in writing to the event organiser. 

ALIQUANTUM Membership Benefits

• Members will receive a Purple Hat pin badge to signify their membership status.
• Membership entitles members to attend any event of their choice.  If more than one event is attended per calendar month then members may attend additional meetings at non-member rate.
• Membership entitles members to attend 11 evening meetings per year and 1 Christmas lunch-time meeting.
• ALIQUANTUM - Networking for Women in Business will provide access to all benefits and rewards provided by our sponsors.
• ALIQUANTUM - Networking for Women in Business will provide, from time-to-time, workshops designed to provide development opportunities for women in business.
