Women's Networking News
Welcome to our News page. This is where we keep you up-to-date with the things that are going on in ALIQUANTUM and tell you about any networking events we think may be of interest to you and any special deals we have negotiated for you. You can also see our current Newsletter or catch up with things that we have done in the past from our Newsletter archive on the Newsletter page.
If you know of a networking event that you think may be of interest to the ladies who come to ALIQUANTUM please contact us using the General Enquiries link or call 0161 950 9472.
At ALIQUANTUM we firmly believe that we should support others where we can so, just to underline that networking – whether that is networking for women or just networking per se – does work! The Chapel Street Business Group have organised a Charity Run in Heaton Park on 2nd December 2007 in aid of KIDSCAN. For those of you fit enough to take part it is a good opportunity to network, take the kids along to get some fresh air and a bit of exercise and raise money for a very worthwhile cause. Full details are available here.

ALIQUANTUM News
It has been an exciting few months since our last update with a variety of very good networking meetings with guest speakers who have given our ladies a lot of interesting things to think about. Among them were Sue Tonks who presented Rollercoasters, Roundabouts and Roulette in Preston and who will be delivering that presentation for our Manchester ladies in November, Amanda Clarke who gave our Manchester ladies lots of very good ideas for being Debt Free and Happy and last, but by no means least, Graham Lyons and Michael Hanna from Moovin On Up who gave all the ladies who attended some very positive food for thought about Search Engine Optimisation.
The other big news of course was our hugely successful Glitz and Glamour Ball. You can see some of the feedback we have had from the people who attended by clicking here or you can go an have a look at the pictures on our gallery here.
Opportunities for Development with ALIQUANTUM
One of the challenges that we face in the world of self-employment is finding cost effective opportunities for personal development. This is an issue that ALIQUANTUM aims to address in the future.
We are delighted to announce that we are introducing workshops to meet a variety of needs on both a business and personal level. We will also keep you informed about any additional cost effective training opportunities that we hear about, so if you know of something that will be of interest and value to other women in business please do contact Laura Swetman and let her have the details so that we can share them with all our ladies. After all, that's what networking is all about!
You can find out more about the Workshops on offer here and we will keep you posted as details become available for the Credit Where Credit's due with Rosalind Hilton and Influence and Negotiation with Sonya O'Sullivan.
